During the procedure, you will privately disrobe from the waist down and use a provided cover-up. While lying on your left side, a lubricated speculum is gently inserted into the rectum. A 5-gallon tank of warm water, positioned about 3 feet above the treatment table, allows water to enter and exit your body, gently cleansing the colon.
